Now!” Captain Shras’aan zh’Shonnas starts to question her, but Admiral T’konra does not hesitate and immediately jabs the control pad. The force field around cargo bay five shorts out, and all the cargo and people are blown out violently into space! Luckily, the Starfleet personnel are immediately beamed back to the station, but the cargo goes shooting forward in a haphazard fashion.

Ssleestak and K'tral discover it will take months of repair and upgrades before the Solstice is fully spaceworthy again. While presenting their repair plan to the Captain, all senior officers are abruptly summoned back to the Admiral's conference room, along with the four religious heads of New P'jem; they are then told of the attacks on Earth and Starbase 375. Phillip is informed privately that his parents are all right, as they had called in.

However, she successfully accesses his memories and determines the approximate amount of trilithium that was used in the bomb.
