She's sitting in a chair right outside the Office of the Federation President, and then a moment later President Jonathan Archer steps out into the room wearing a sleeping robe and slippers. He seems completely unsurprised to find her there, and says, "Didn't they tell you how to activate this thing?" Mel retorts, "Meridian gave it to me, so... no." Archer sighs but says, "Don't squeeze it, just tap the top twice. How can I help you, captain?"
